This is a blog about our little family. So I want to start with a little about us and a little about what we may or may not blog about. We are just an average family that try’s to do the best that we can. We haven’t been dealt the most wonderful hand in life, but we have been trying to do the very best that we can with what we have.

There is the husband a 100% total/permanent combat connected disabled Veteran, the wife that is an average woman, the oldest daughter a 14 year old beautiful horse crazy girl, the 12 year old daughter that is a beautiful 17q12 diagnosed girl, and the 5 year old nephew that is an amazing handsome autistic boy. We were an active duty Army family for 13 and a half years, until February 2019. Now we are just transitioning back into the civilian life. I am sure we will be sharing so much more on some of these topics as we go.

Our main reasoning for wanting to start blogging and sharing our life with everyone is, well two reasons. The first we really wanted to open peoples eyes to the transitioning for a service member that has spent so much of their life as a military personal back into being a civilian. The second reason is we want to let other veteran families know they are not alone. Transitioning isn’t easy and neither is being a veteran that has PTSD or other obstacles that try to get in the way of life. Especially when you are still trying to raise young children. We hope, if nothing else, to be able to help one person. Rather it be with information they can use or just to know their are people out there for them and understands what they are going through.
